SEASONED FIREWOOD QUESTIONS
We have a lot of questions about seasoned firewood. All of our firewood is harvested locally and usually each of the logs have been cut and down for at least a year. Sometimes, the moisture level in later cut logs is a little higher. Rain and snow conditions will increase those levels. Ordering early (Spring or Summer) and having it delivered early will give the moisture levels time to come down and it will be ready to burn once cold weather hits. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE that the firewood will be at a 20% moisture level or under so order as early as possible.
